Volunteering
Volunteering for swim meets is unlike any other sport - and that is a positive statement! Most of the time you are interacting with the swimmers and their families or having a direct impact on the operation of the meet.
During each meet, home and away, there are numerous jobs that must be coordinated. All parents (usually one from each family) will be asked to volunteer for a position for all but one meet. Most positions last half the meet.

Believe it or not, a home meet requires 52 volunteers and an away meet 28!
Thank you, Viper families, for being SO easy to work with and always being willing to step in and help. We have a very cooperative and dedicated group of parents!
